Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most from business owners considering ReVamp Accounting.
Getting Started
-
Yes. Every engagement starts with a free consultation so we can understand your business, your current financial setup, and recommend the right package or engagement — whether that's Bookkeeping & Accounting, Fractional Controller services, the Complete Financial Suite, or the Financial Transformation . -
It depends on where you are today. If you need clean, reliable books and don't yet have a bookkeeper, Bookkeeping & Accounting is usually the right starting point. If you already have solid books but need senior financial strategy and oversight, Fractional Controller is a better fit. If your books are fragmented, inaccurate, or you've never had confidence in your numbers, the Financial Transformation is built specifically for that reset. During your free consultation, we'll walk through your situation and recommend a fit — we'd rather point you to the right package than the most expensive one.
-
We'll follow up with you to schedule a call. On that call, we'll ask about your business, your current financial setup, and what's prompting you to look for help. From there, we'll recommend a service and, if it's a good fit, send over a formal engagement letter outlining scope, timeline, and fees before any work begins.
-
Yes. While ReVamp Accounting is based in Broward County, Florida, we serve clients locally and virtually across the country. Most of our work — accounting, reporting, advisory calls — is done remotely regardless of where you're located.
-
We work with businesses across the full growth spectrum — from small businesses ready to move past DIY bookkeeping, to established companies with more complex financial operations, up to the mid-market range. What matters most isn't your size, but where you are in your financial maturity: whether you've outgrown basic bookkeeping but aren't ready for (or don't need) a full in-house finance department, or you already have an internal type that needs senior-level oversight, specialized project support, or an outside perspective. This includes professional services firms, growth-stage companies, and larger businesses preparing for their next phase — whether that's a system change, an audit, a sale, a scaling event, or simply getting real visibility into their numbers for the first time.
Pricing & Fees
-
Pricing depends on the size, complexity, and current state of your books, so we don't publish flat rates — every engagement starts with a scoping conversation during your free consultation. That said, our packages are typically structured as predictable monthly fees (for Bookkeeping & Accounting, Fractional Controller, and the Complete Financial Suite) or a defined project fee (for the Financial Transformation), so you'll always know what to expect — no surprise hourly billing.
-
Bookkeeping & Accounting, Fractional Controller, and the Complete Financial Suite are typically available as 6- or 12-month engagements with a renewal option, so you're not locked into an indefinite contract. The Financial Transformation is a defined, 3-phase project with a clear start and end. We'll walk through exact terms in your engagement letter before you sign anything.
-
Our packages are structured around various terms because meaningful financial oversight and clean books require consistency — a single month rarely moves the needle. If you're unsure about committing, the free consultation is a great way to make sure it's the right fit before signing an engagement letter.
Working With Us
-
We work within the accounting and financial systems most growing businesses already use, and we'll assess your current stack (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Workday and other similar platforms) during onboarding. If you're evaluating a new system entirely, our New System Implementation Readiness Evaluation add-on is built specifically to assess compatibility before you commit to a switch.
-
This varies by package, but generally we'll need timely access to your bank and credit card statements, receipts for significant purchases, and prompt responses to any clarifying questions about transactions. We'll outline exactly what's needed for your specific engagement during onboarding — our goal is to make this as low-lift for you as possible while still getting accurate books.
-
Yes, in a few different ways. If you have a bookkeeper you want to keep, our Fractional Controller service adds senior-level oversight and strategy on top of your existing bookkeeping. If you're doing your own books and want to hand that off, Bookkeeping & Accounting takes it off your plate entirely. And if you're not sure your current books are actually accurate, the Financial Transformation starts with a full diagnostic to find out.
-
Every package is designed to be outgrown. If you start with Bookkeeping & Accounting and later need strategic oversight, we'll transition you into Fractional Controller or the Complete Financial Suite. This is a conversation we have proactively, not something you need to push for.
